12th March: Invoicing and contracts update

Thank you for invoicing promptly for initiative delivery. If you have any outstanding invoices relating to the October-March initiative funding period, please send these through asap.

Any final invoices for participation fees for the period up to the end of March need to be sent through by 5 April please (earlier if possible). This is so that we can finalise the year end and the transfer of funds to the new CIC. For those coming to Manchester, please also send through any expenses by that date.

Those receiving ‘next steps’ funding should be able to invoice in April for the full amount. Our payment terms will be 30 days, though we will of course pay sooner if we’re able to. We will issue contracts in April, but will aim to share the template for this earlier so that you can see what it will cover. You may need to input information about how you process personal data to this new contract.

Contracts for continuing initiatives will depend on the outcomes of 1-2-1 conversations with Ellie. We also hope to issue these in April and we will agree a payment schedule with you. You will need to input information about how you process personal data to this new contract, as this will be the first contract with the new organisation. The terms and conditions of contracts will be similar to those issued by CAST, although we aspire to develop more radical agreements in the future (inspired by the Beyond the Rules project).

20th Feb: Update on the next steps fund

Following the helpful temperature check in today’s IL meeting, and Dan’s great suggestion of splitting the next steps fund into equivalent amounts for each initiative rather than going through another request and review process, we have iterated the approach.

We’d now like to award each initiative directly with the equivalent of 3 months’ funding at their current funded rate.

The original outline of this fund is available on jamboard here, as presented in the IL meeting this week.
